Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania take entertainment quiz format City vs Country

Lithuania’s version of City vs Country last aired in 2018

Telewizja Polsat in Poland and Star Light Media in Ukraine have ordered local versions of Helsinki-based Rabbit Films format City vs Country, while TV3 in Lithuania has brought the show back after six years.

All three deals were brokered by senior sales consultant Marta Csizmadia, who is responsible for Central and Eastern European sales at Rabbit Films, the distribution arm of Monday Media Group.

Production on all three versions began in autumn 2024. In City vs Country, two hosts take the teams from either the city or the country through three rounds of questions to see which side triumphs.

The original version of City vs Country was produced by Rabbit Films for MTV3 in Finland, where it is in its seventh season. Lithuania’s TV3 previously adapted the format for its first season in 2018, while TV2 in Hungary ordered a local remake in 2022.
