Pluto TV unveils two comedy channels

Detroiters will be available on Comedy Central Pluto TV

Viacom-owned ad-funded streaming platform Pluto TV Europe has launched two new channels in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Comedy Central Pluto TV is a platform for comedy content of various kinds, from series to stand-up, and adult-oriented animation. Shows on its catalogue include satirical cartoon series Drawn Together, live-action comedy Detroiters and Japanese gameshow Takeshi’s Castle.

Meanwhile, Comedy Central – Made in Germany is a new channel designed to feature local productions and highlight German talent. The platform will include stand-up comedy shows as well as satirical news programmes, like Comedy Central Presents: Standup 3000 and Comedy Central News.

Olivier Jollet, MD for Europe at Pluto TV, said: “We’re thrilled to bring some of the best comedic talents from around the world to Pluto TV viewers. Those still believing that Germans lack a certain sense of humour should turn on Comedy Central – Made in Germany, the place that puts German comics centre stage.”

The two new channels are the latest additions to Pluto TV Europe’s slate of Viacom content. Pluto TV is available on Amazon Fire TV, Sky Ticket and Apple TV for viewers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
