Plimsoll to adapt Denmark’s Master Cleaners

NEWS BRIEF: ITV Studios-owned Plimsoll Productions has acquired the UK and US remake rights to Danish cleaning competition format Master Cleaners (Det Rene Vanvid) from its subsidiary Magnify Media.

The show originally launched on Danish commercial broadcaster TV2 and pits the most obsessive sticklers for cleanliness against their fellow perfectionists. Format rights have been acquired by: The Oslo Company (Norway); ITV Studios (France); Bildergarten Entertainment (Germany); HEUS (Holland); Lotus Production, a Leone Film Group company, in Italy; and Mediawan Finland (Finland). Rights are under negotiation for Australia.
