Play4, Banijay reboot Fear Factor in Belgium

Comedian Alex Agnew will host the new Fear Factor

NEWS BRIEF: SBS-owned Belgian network Play4 has ordered a local version of Banijay format Fear Factor, to be produced by Banijay Belgium.

Belgian comedian Alex Agnew will host the show, which sees contestants take on terrifying challenges such as tightrope walking between skyscrapers, for cash prizes. The format was originally created by EndemolShine Netherlands and a US version aired on NBC from 2001 to 2006.
