Planète+, Portugal’s RTP2, Spain’s EITB among first to tap The Water Guardians

The Water Guardians examines global water scarcity

Canal+ and Radio-Canada’s documentary channel Planète+ in French-speaking Canada, Portugal’s RTP2, Spain’s EITB and TV3, and RTBF in Belgium are the first international buyers of environmental docuseries The Water Guardians.

The 4×52’ nature and ecology series addresses the global issue of water scarcity through stories of people who have been working to preserve or discover sources of water.

The series is produced by j2f Production and LSD Films for Canal+ in France, directed by Cedric Leprettre, Basile Roze, Cyril Denvers and Emmanuel Corre, and written by Cyril Denvers and Candice Souillac.

Paris-based About Premium Content (APC) holds the worldwide distribution rights.

“The Water Guardians is a compelling documentary series highlighting the important work these individuals are doing every single day in preserving our planet,” said Laurent Boissel and Emmanuelle Guilbart, joint-CEOs and co-founders of APC, in a statement.
