Pixcom hires former Quebecor exec Viens

Canadian indie Pixcom has appointed former Quebecor executive Ginette Viens as its new VP of international productions.

Viens will oversee all international scripted and non-scripted development and production slates, as well as serving as exec producer. She will be based in Montreal and has already joined the Pixcom team remotely.

Viens was previously VP at Canadian broadcaster and producer Quebecor Content and was in charge of all original content for its various linear and non-linear platforms. She greenlit about 80 original productions per year.

Viens will also lead an international team comprising content producer for scripted Greg Dummett and director of development for non-scripted Holly Brace-Lavoie.
