A feature film adaptation of The Kiss Quotient is currently in development to be produced by Pilgrim CEO Craig Piligian and VP of scripted content Lauren Pfeiffer.

The book was published in June by Berkley Jove Trade Paperback Originals, part of Penguin Random House, and is currently in its fifth print run.

It tells the story of Stella Lane, an econometrician in Silicon Valley who hires a male escort to help her learn how to find love.

Hoang’s own diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder in 2016 helped shape the emotional story of self-discovery and acceptance.
