Phoenix TV in China acquires content to mark 80 years since end of Second World War

1942: Rouen Under the Allies’ Bombs

China’s Phoenix TV has acquired programming from Hong Kong-based distributor Harbour Rights to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.

The majority state-owned television network has picked up 1942: Rouen Under the Allies’ Bombs (1×52′), Stalingrad (3×52′) and Stealth Aircraft: The Ultimate Technology (1×52′).

Elsewhere, TVB in Hong Kong has taken 17 episodes of Harbour Rights’ flagship travel series Flavors, while DA AI TV in Taiwan has taken Masters of Space (4×52′) and Space Factory (1×52′).

SBS Australia has picked up Food That Built Asia (9×26′), originally produced for History Channel Asia, for its food channel as well as Statue of Liberty: A French Giant (1×52′) for its main channel.
