PGS Entertainment hires Planeta alum as executive VP of acquisitions, development

French kids and family producer-distributor PGS Entertainment has appointed Paula Taborda dos Guaranys as executive VP of acquisitions and development.

In the newly created role, Taborda dos Guaranys will be responsible for providing expert strategic direction in developing kids and family content for the global market in her new role, with the aim of creating new opportunities and to enhance and expand PGS’s current offerings through acquisitions and development.

Taborda dos Guaranys joins PGS from Planeta Entertainment, where she served as creative executive director for more than two years.

Prior to that, Taborda dos Guaranys worked at Globosat in Brazil for nearly a decade, working her way up to head of content, development and programming for channels Gloob and Gloobinho.
