Petite Maman lands on Mubi

Céline Sciamma’s Petite Maman

Movie SVoD platform Mubi has picked up UK, Irish and Turkish rights to French screenwriter and director Céline Sciamma’s film Petite Maman.

Shot by cinematographer Claire Mathon, Petite Maman tells the story of eight-year-old Nelly who has just lost her grandmother and is helping her parents clean out her house. One day her mother abruptly leaves and Nelly meets a girl her own age, named Marion, in the woods.

International sales for the film, which stars Gabrielle Sanz, Joséphine Sanz, Nina Meurisse, Margot Abascal and Stéphane Varupenne, are handled by mk2.
