NEWS BRIEF: City of Queens, the feature documentary telling the true life stories of eight London drag queens, has been licensed to NBCUniversal-owned streamer Peacock in the US with a premiere date of June 1.

This is the latest sale of City of Queens by its prodco Great Guns following previous deals with Sky UK, Sky Italia and Paramount Australia. The special, directed by Matt Timmiss and executive produced by CEO of Great Guns Laura Gregory, includes Bimini Bon Boulash, runner up of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 2. The sale was brokered by Great Guns’ global sales consultant James Braham (formerly of Endemol Shine) and NBCUniversal’s director of content acquisition, streaming and television Lindsey Schloss.
