NEWS BRIEF: NBCUniversal-owned US streamer Peacock has ordered a second season of comedy series Rutherford Falls from Universal Television.

The series focuses on two lifelong best friends at a literal crossroads when their sleepy town gets an unexpected wakeup call. It is from co-creators and executive producers Michael Schur (Parks and Recreation, The Good Place), Ed Helms (The Office) and Sierra Teller Ornelas (Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Superstore).
