Peacock preps Pride & Prejudice reality series

NBCUniversal-owned US streamer Peacock has commissioned a Jane Austen-inspired dating reality series titled Pride & Prejudice: An Experiment in Romance.

Developed and produced by Endemol Shine North America in association with Shine TV, the new format will transport suitors back to Regency England where they will try to win over a heroine while attempting old-fashioned activities such as letter writing, archery and carriage riding.

Anthony Dominici is executive producing the show along with Sharon Levy, DJ Nurre and Michael Heyerman for Endemol Shine North America and Susy Price for Shine TV.
