Peacock, Nickelodeon, Hulu and others shop at BBC Studios Kids & Family

Peacock, The Roku Channel and Tubi are among those buying episodes of Hey Duggee

Peacock, Nickelodeon and Hulu are among the latest broadcasters and streamers to acquire children’s shows Hey Duggee, Bluey and Popularity Papers from BBC Studios Kids & Family.

NBCUniversal-owned Peacock has picked up additional episodes of hit preschool animation Hey Duggee, as have The Roku Channel and Tubi. FAST channel BBC Kids has also acquired the series, as have broadcasters SBT in Brazil and RUV in Iceland.

Knowledge Network in Canada, DR in Denmark, WDR in Germany, Warner Bros Discovery in Italy, De Agostini Editore in Italy, Prime Video in Spain and SVT in Sweden have renewed the series.

Nickelodeon in the UK and Italy, Hulu in the US and ABC in Australia have licensed live-action comedy series Popularity Papers. Based on Amy Ignatow’s books and produced by Aircraft Pictures and WexWorks Media, the series debuted last year on YTV and streamer StackTV in Canada.

Meanwhile, MENA-based Spacetoon TV has acquired hit animated series Bluey, while DR in Denmark, Rai Yoyo in Italy, DeAJunior in Italy and Public Limited and LaTVian Television in Latvia have picked up season three. YLE in Finland and De Agostini Editore in Italy have acquired season one.
