Peacock lines up Dragons spin-off from DreamWorks

Dragons: Rescue Riders has run for two seasons on Netflix

NEWS BRIEF: NBCUniversal-run streamer Peacock is launching a spin-off from DreamWorks Animation’s series Dragons: Rescue Riders, which has run for two seasons on Netflix.

Dragons Rescue Riders: Heroes of the Sky is the next chapter following the adventures of Viking twins Dak and Leyla, who were rescued and raised by dragons. Launching on November 24, the series is one of a number of kids shows on the platform as it looks to bolster its youth programming. Peacock has also renewed series including Curious George and Madagascar: A Little Wild and is launching holiday special Madagascar: A Little Wild Holiday Goose Chase.
