Peace Point hits spot ahead of Natpe

Broadcasters in Brazil, El Salvador and Nicaragua, as well as Netflix in Latin America, have picked up factual and lifestyle content from Peace Point Rights.

The distribution arm of the Canadian producer has shopped titles from Muse Entertainment to Latin America ahead of Natpe in Miami this week.

Deals include Brazilian pay TV channel Globo taking A Wish Come True (1×120′), about a woman whose birthday wishes from throughout her life are suddenly granted.

Globo has also taken Tut (6×60′), the event series that tells the story of Tutankhamun’s rise to power and struggle to lead Egypt to glory.

Netflix Latin America, TN8 Nicaragua and Telecorporacion Salvadorena in El Slavador have already taken the series.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered (7×120’), about the inspiring stories of four postal workers in the Dead Letter Office of the US Postal System, has been sold to MVS Latin America.

Elsewhere, Greek pubcaster ERT has taken Frontier Vets (13×30′), while Stream TV in Eastern Europe has picked up a package that includes Ice Racer Showdown (12×60′) and Body Fuel (13×30′).

Globosat in Brazil, SPT Networks across Africa and Z Tele in Canada have also taken Escape or Die (12×30′), which follows escape artist Dean Gunnarson as he prepares for life-threatening stunts.
