PCCW, TVO, ABC Australia among latest nets to shop for kids at Madgic Distribution

High Hoops has been picked up by TVO and the ABC

Hong Kong’s PCCW, TVO in Canada and the ABC in Australia are among the latest networks to acquire children’s programming from Paris-based Madgic Distribution (fka APC Kids).

PCCW has picked up Nitso & the Very Hairy Alphabet (26×7’), produced by Eagle Eye Filmproduktion in coproduction with KiKA and GS Animation; Lana Longbead (52×11’), produced by Madgic’s production arm Zephyr and Copernicus Studios; and Kelebek Media’s Isadora Moon (48×11’ and 2×22’).

It has also acquired season two of TeamTO’s action-comedy series Jade Armor (26×26’) for its SVoD service NowTV, as have RTBF in Belgium, Tele-Quebec in Canada and Narrative Entertainment in the UK.

TVO and the ABC have both picked up Isadora Moon and CBBC live-action series High Hoops (10×30’), produced by Can Can Productions.
