Paxman spotlights Parkinson’s in ITV doc

NEWS BRIEF: UK commercial broadcaster ITV has commissioned a one-off doc spotlighting renowned UK political interviewer Jeremy Paxman’s battle with Parkinson’s disease following his formal diagnosis 18 months ago.

The former Newsnight host will be the centre of Paxman: Putting Up with Parkinson’s (1×60’) from Livewire Pictures. The doc will see Paxman speak to other high-profile people living with Parkinson’s, meet the president of Parkinson’s UK, Jane Asher, attend an English National Ballet therapy dance class, and learn to play bowls.
