Emogenius sees contestants decode emoji-themed messages

Tinopolis-owned UK distributor Passion Distribution has acquired the rights to a slate of gameshows from US cablenet Game Show Network.

Passion Distribution has picked up finished tape and format rights to shows including America Says (320×30’), Best Ever Trivia Show (65×30’), Common Knowledge (195×30’), Catch 21 (65×30’), Emogenius (40×30’) and Get A Clue (65×30’).

The new slate will be showcased in Passion’s Format Sessions, an online event for buyers taking place tomorrow.

Sean Wheatley, head of acquisitions at Passion Distribution, said: “Game Show Network knows what audiences want and has a great range of much-loved shows in this genre. There is also demand from our clients looking for entertainment that can be produced under Covid restrictions and these perfectly fit the bill.”
