Passion Distribution’s UpStream Media launches digital-first prodco

UpStream Studios has made its first original show, MechMania

London-based Passion Distribution’s UpStream Media has launched a digital-first production company called UpStream Studios.

UpStream Studios is focused on “delivering high-quality, scalable content that resonates with online audiences” and has already made its first original show, a robot combat series called MechMania, which was commissioned by SVoD platform Mech+.

The prodco is additionally in production on three original web series that have been greenlit by UpStream Media’s channels. The first, Dirtiest Home SOS, follows the intense and transformative process of cleaning extreme hoarder homes.

The second show, OMG Stories, provides an unfiltered look at shocking and unbelievable real-life experiences, while the third series, Cops React, breaks down intense police footage with commentary from real police officers.

UpStream Studios will also produce digital content to support existing shows and IP, such as Worst Driver and The Football’s On.
