Passion Distribution slate challenges couples, explores White House and Camelot

#CoupleChallenge puts couples through physical and mental competitions

London-based unscripted distributor Passion Distribution has revealed its Mipcom slate, which features content from entertainment formats to true crime series.

In the entertainment space, Passion is launching #CoupleChallenge, in which duos push themselves in physical and mental competitions to win €100,000 (US$117,500); and World of Wonders, which sees three celebrity teams face off in a quizshow celebrating the planet’s most jaw-dropping natural wonders, extreme locations and wildlife.

Premium history is covered with drama-documentary The White House (4×60’), produced by Nutopia for Fox Nation, which chronicles the presidential families that have lived there.

Also in the history genre is The Quest for Camelot, a 1×60’ doc produced by Pioneer Productions for Thirteen, WNET Group and SBS, which uses cutting-edge scanning technology and fresh archaeological evidence to investigate whether the legend of Camelot may be rooted in truth.

From historical mysteries to modern-day explorations, What Happens in Vegas (2×60’), produced by Northern Child Productions for BBC Three, lifts the lid on a city of extremes and reveals the dramatic transformation of Las Vegas beyond the clichés.

Produced by Evident Media for Scripps News, In Real Life (45×30’), brings viewers into the heart of stories shaping our world, from AI breakthroughs in animal communication and the environmental impact of deep-sea mining to the rise of women in motorsport.

Meanwhile, I Bought It at Auction with Sarah Beeny (6×60’), produced by Little Gem and Knockers TV for Channel 4, sees the property expert unearth auction bargains and give forgotten treasures a new lease of life.

Produced by Air TV for UKTV’s Really, Angus Ashworth’s Yorkshire Country House Weekend (8×60’) sees the auctioneer revive the spirit of the 1930s country house weekend, as he searches dusty attics for hidden treasures to raise funds to help save some of Britain’s most beautiful, crumbling stately homes.

Returning docuseries include season four of Firecracker Films’ Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over (3×60’) and S3 of South Shore’s Freddie Flintoff’s Field of Dreams (4×60’).
