Passion briefs producers on key trends

Tinopolis-owned UK distributor Passion Distribution is launching an initiative to support producers and continue to provide unscripted content to international buyers.

The Producers Programming Brief sees Passion share the latest market intelligence on the current needs of the international market with key existing partners as well as a wider selection of UK-based independent producers.

The idea is to help stock its sales slate for the year ahead with programmes in key trending genres.

These include gameshows, dating and competition reality formats; character-driven, purposeful factual entertainment; and ambitious, landmark, definitive takes on history, engineering or science.

There is also a need for investigative or fast-turnaround factual; aspirational, escapist food, property, travel and wedding lifestyle programming; and new angles or landmark takes on true crime.
