Paramount+ to grow footprint through VIDAA deal

NEWS BRIEF: International streamer Paramount+ is looking to expand its footprint in Canada and Latin America after its parent company, Paramount Global, agreed a deal with TV software operating system provider VIDAA.

The deal covers Latin American markets including Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay and Venezuela. Marco Nobili, executive VP and international general manager for Paramount+, said: “The deal is an incredible opportunity to get Paramount+ popular content, characters and franchises available to an increasingly large audience, and a testament of our commitment to investing in customer choice.”
