Paramount+ sets global launch for three Korean originals under TVING deal

Romantic comedy Dreaming of Cinde Fxxxing Rella stars Pyo Ye-jin and Lee Jun-young

Paramount+ has revealed plans to exclusively launch a trio of new Korean original series Dreaming of Cinde Fxxxing Rella, Pyramid Game and Dongjae, The Good or the Bastard in multiple markets including the US, UK and Canada.

The shows were commissioned as part of a seven-project commitment between Paramount+ and Korean streamer TVING through Paramount Global’s partnership with Seoul-based entertainment giant CJ ENM.

Other titles produced under the pact are Yonder, Bargain, A Bloody Lucky Day and Queen Woo.

In addition to the US, UK and Canada, the three newly revealed shows will also stream on Paramount+ in Australia, Latin America, Brazil, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Dongjae, The Good or the Bastard, produced by Studio Dragon and Ace Factory, is a spin-off of thriller series Stranger. It follows a character whose future is bleak due to the stigma of his past corruption as a sponsor prosecutor.

Pyramid Game, produced by Film Monster and CJ ENM Studios, centres on a girl who escapes being bullied and becomes a ‘sniper’ in order to end a dangerous high school game.

Dreaming of Cinde Fxxxing Rella, produced by CJ ENM, Story Phoenix and Keyeast, is a romantic comedy about a woman who dreams of becoming Cinderella because of the troubles she has faced in life. It stars Pyo Ye-jin and Lee Jun-young.

Paramount Global Content Distribution is handling international sales on Dongjae, Pyramid Game and Dreaming of Cinde Fxxxing Rella outside of Korea, Japan and Taiwan.

Paramount+ launched in Korea last year via TVING, which is a subsidiary of CJ ENM.
