Paramount+ picks up Las Vegas shooting doc from director Jeff Zimbalist

Four-part documentary 11 Minutes

Paramount+ has taken the global rights to 11 Minutes, a four-part documentary charting a mass shooting at the 2017 Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas.

Directed by Jeff Zimbalist (Momentum Generation, The Two Escobars), the docuseries features an interview with country music star Jason Aldean, who was performing when the gunfire started. Over the course of 11 minutes of shooting, 58 people were killed and more than 800 injured by a shooter on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay resort.

The project also features police bodycam footage and cell phone video from those who were there, in addition to first-person narratives from police, trauma teams and concert attendees.

It is produced by Triage Entertainment, All Rise Films, Third Force Productions and See It Now Studios, the latter of which was founded a year ago by former CBS News president Susan Zirinsky.

Executive producers include Stu Schreiberg, Zimbalist, Ashley Hoff, Terence Wrong and Zirinsky. 11 Minutes is distributed globally by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
