Paramount+ lands more Aussie Shore

NEWS BRIEF: Paramount+ in Australia has renewed its local addition to MTV’s Shore franchise, Aussie Shore, for a second season, with production set to begin soon on a 10-episode run.

The first season of Aussie Shore launched in October last year, featuring 11 unknown Australians from across the country who are based in a house in Cairns in the Queensland tropics for several weeks. A public call for auditions for the S2 cast has been issued. S1 was the first production to use the new Screen Queensland Cairns studio facility and created over 100 local cast and crew jobs.
