Paramount+ branded hub to launch in Turkey on streamers TOD and beIN Connect

The pact covers Paramount Global shows including NCIS: Origins

LONDON TV SCREENINGS: Paramount Global Content Distribution has signed a deal with beIN Media Group in Turkey to launch a Paramount+ branded hub.

The branded area, announced during Paramount’s screenings event here in London, will launch via beIN’s Turkish streaming platforms, TOD and beIN Connect.

The licensing pact, which covers content from Paramount Pictures, Republic Pictures, CBS Studios and Showtime, includes series NCIS: Origins, Elsbeth and The Agency and upcoming title NCIS: Tony & Ziva. It also includes movies such as Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning and Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie.

The deal marks an expansion of Paramount and beIN’s licensing relationship, after launching a Paramount+ branded hub last year via TOD in the Middle East and North Africa.

Paramount+ branded hubs are also available in several other markets, including Greece (via Cosmote), Belgium (Streamz), Africa (MultiChoice), India (JioCinema), Philippines (Blast TV), Thailand (MONO) and Korea (Coupang Play).

“Our Paramount+ branded destinations have consistently proven to meet the demand among streaming consumers for high-quality entertainment as well as attract new subscribers to respective platforms, offering users new avenues to access our acclaimed content,” said Dan Cohen, chief content licensing officer at Paramount and president of Republic Pictures.
