Paramount in Australia has unified its linear and digital television offering under a single sales proposition and appointed Grant Madigan to lead it as VP of sales.

Madigan will lead a team “purpose-built for converged selling” and reports to Lee Sears, president of international markets advertising sales at Paramount Global.

Reporting to Madigan are general manager of sales Nick Bower, national digital sales director Diane Ho and director of national advertising partnerships Tamar Hovagimian.

Bower oversees client and agency relationships and the converged national ad sales team. State sales directors reporting to him are Travis Kirk, New South Wales sales director; John O’Brien, southern markets sales director, agency; Adam Quick, southern markets sales director, indies and direct; Helen Elliott, Queensland sales director; and Paul Townsend, general manager and Western Australia sales director.

Ho leads Paramount Australia’s digital commercial strategy and revenue delivery, driving growth and innovation through data and technology led solutions, in partnership with agencies and clients.

Hovagimian is responsible for Australia’s commercial premium partnership portfolio across all platforms, from strategy and creative ideation to integration, production and activation.

Sears said: “Bringing together our linear and digital capabilities under a single, cohesive sales team is the right move for our partners and the right move for the market.

“Grant is exactly the leader we need to drive that agenda in Australia, commercially sharp, deeply connected to the industry and focused on delivering outcomes that matter to advertisers.”
