Paramount ANZ elevates two key content executives to leadership roles

Tamara Simoneau, left, and Yeesum Lo

Paramount ANZ has bolstered its content commissioning leadership team with two senior promotions following the sudden defection of Daniel Monaghan, senior VP, content & programming, to Foxtel.

In the leadership team reshuffle, Tamara Simoneau has been appointed VP, content and Yeesum Lo has been promoted to VP, content business affairs and strategy.

Simoneau has been elevated from head of lifestyle programmes and has been with the network since 2019, working across reality and lifestyle series including  I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Gogglebox Australia, Australian Survivor, The Masked Singer, The Living Room, The Project and Studio 10. She joined the network from Canada where she worked for Corus Entertainment as a senior executive producer.

Lo joined Network 10 in 2020 in the newly created role of head of development. In her initial tenure she drove the vision for identifying and developing locally produced Australian content across all channels and platforms in conjunction with the wider Network 10 team.

She started her career at NBC Universal in New York and was subsequently appointed manager of business development for Endemol Shine Group in Los Angeles before transferring to Sydney in 2013.

Foxtel poached Paramount and Network Ten veteran programming executive Daniel Monaghan for the role of executive director, overseeing entertainment content, strategy and channels across Foxtel and Binge at the start of the week.
