OWN to Cherish the Day again

US cablenet OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network has renewed anthology drama series Cherish the Day for a second season.

Created by Ava DuVernay and produced by Array Filmworks and Harpo Films in association with Warner Bros Television, Cherish the Day chronicles the stirring relationship of one couple, with each episode spanning a single day.

Following the show’s premiere earlier this year, the second run will feature a new couple’s love story, with an all-new cast. Production will take place in 2021.

Season one’s co-executive producers Raynelle Swilling and Teri Schaffer will return as exec producers and co-showrunners. Also exec producing are DuVernay, Oprah Winfrey and Paul Garnes.
