Orange Smarty finds Foxtel A Place in the Sun

Australian pay TV broadcaster Foxtel has secured more than 380 hours of lifestyle content from UK distributor Orange Smarty.

The package for Lifestyle Channel includes season five of A Place in the Sun: Winter Sun (54×60’), season four of A Place in the Sun: Summer Sun (16×60’) and Coast vs Country (30X60’), all produced by Freeform Productions.

Foxtel has also acquired factual crime titles Catching a Killer: The Search for Natalie Hemming (1×90’), The Wind in the Willows Murder (1×60’) and Murdered by My Fiancé (1×60’), all for its Crime + Investigation Channel.

The deal follows Orange Smarty’s recent package agreement with TV4, which saw the Swedish broadcaster acquire more than 600 hours of content.
