Oliver, Fremantle cook up Disney deal

Jamie’s Easy Meals for Every Day forms part of 24Kitchen deal

The Walt Disney Company-owned Portuguese network 24Kitchen has agreed a deal with Fremantle for new programming from celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.

The multi-year agreement will see 24Kitchen launch a selection of new and forthcoming culinary series from Jamie Oliver Productions, which has a distribution agreement with Fremantle.

The deal was brokered by Al De Azpiazu, senior VP of sales and distribution for French-speaking Europe, Italy, Spain and Portugal at Fremantle.

De Azpiazu said: “24Kitchen is committed to delivering the best in international food programming so it was the perfect home for Jamie’s quality series. We are confident that its audiences will be both inspired and entertained by his tips, tricks and recipes.”
