Objective Fiction names head of comedy

All3Media-owned Objective Fiction has appointed Charlotte Lewis, producer of GameFace and Witless, as its head of comedy.

Charlotte Lewis

After joining Objective as a producer in 2013, Lewis developed and produced all three seasons of BBC3’s comedy-thriller Witless, which has recently been optioned by CBS Studios. A US version is being developed by Objective Fiction and Funny Or Die.

Lewis also developed and produced season one of Roisin Conaty’s critically Channel 4 series GameFace and then executive produced its second season.

She began her career in comedy entertainment, working in both production and development for Objective and other companies, including Hat Trick, Talkback and Roughcut, and was most recently an in-house executive at Objective.

In her new role she will work alongside head of development Kelly McGolpin.

Objective Fiction, which was launched by Ben Farrell in 2016, specialises in original scripted content. Its series include Channel 4’s Year of the Rabbit and the Netflix and Channel 4 show Feel Good.
