The agreement will see Nucleus and Scribe develop, produce and distribute two original series for the international market.

The first, Beasts of Eden, is an eight-part contemporary ecological thriller created by Christopher Anastasi and Jesse Allam, with Nucleus’s VP of creative development for drama, Isabelle Pechou, serving as creative producer.

The series, which is owned by Nucleus, follows a British investigator for the National Wildlife Crime Unit who must investigate why bodies of endangered animals are appearing inexplicably all over the world.

The second series, The Livingstone Legacy, is a 10-part thriller created by UK-based Winklemania Productions’ founders Ellis Iddon and Phil Meagher and Scribe’s exec creative producer and showrunner Rebecca Fuller-Campbell.

Winklemania Productions will coproduce the series, which follows a woman who finds herself drawn to the heart of Africa on an important quest that her ancestor, the real-life physician and explorer Dr David Livingstone, was unable to complete.
