Nippon TV’s Clan Entertainment launches global VTuber talent search

Izigenia is Tokyo-based ClaN’s latest VTuber project

Nippon TV’s group company Clan Entertainment has launched a global talent search for people who can bring its virtual YouTuber (VTuber) characters to life.

Izigenia marks Tokyo-based Clan’s latest VTuber project, with global auditions for “outstanding individuals” opening yesterday and running until July 31.

The company is seeking applicants of all ages, genders and nationalities who can communicate effectively in English.

Selected talents will debut as Izigenia VTubers with full production, management, and streaming support from Clan, while revenue distribution is structured according to commitment level and performance metrics, the company said.

Izigenia is set to launch globally in spring 2026 on YouTube, Twitch and other platforms. More information is available on the audition website here.

Clan is aiming to become a global leader in the VTuber market, in which online entertainers use virtual avatars generated using computer graphics. Real-time motion-capture software or technology is often, but not always, used to capture their movement.

Clan will attend Anime Expo 2025 in LA this week for the first time, premiering the Izigenia audition animation.

It comes after Clan last year partnered with Hello Kitty owner Sanrio Company to grow their VTuber business together.
