Nippon, Cyber Group team up for Tico & Friends spin-off

ANNECY: Japan’s Nippon Animation has teamed up with French toon house Cyber Group Studios to produce a feature-length animated film and series based on Japanese classic 1990s TV series Tico & Friends.

The new film, Nanami & the Quest for Atlantis (1×90’), and new series are aimed at seven- to 14-year-olds and mark the beginning of what is expected to be a long-term collaboration between the two coproduction partners, which will include updates of several Nippon classic series as well as new properties and initiatives.
