TikTok: Murders Gone Viral uses exclusive access to the families of the victims and other contributors to tell the story of 24-year-old influencer Mahek Bukhari, known online as MayBVlogs, who was convicted recently in the UK of double murder, alongside her mother, following a fatal car crash.

The cases of Mahek and two other murders are explored in the 3×60’ series, which is produced by UK indie Nine Lives and commissioned for ITVX by Nicola Lloyd, factual commissioning editor, and Sue Murphy, head of factual entertainment.

In related news, a second season of teen drama Tell Me Everything is in production for ITVX, produced by Noho Film and Television in association with ITV Studios. The show was created by Mark O’Sullivan.

Rooted in truthful observations about life growing up in the 2020s, the show highlights some of the very specific challenges faced by O’Sullivan’s generation and the effects on their mental health.

The six-part drama is expected to air on ITV2 and be available on ITVX next year. The series has been commissioned by head of drama Polly Hill and drama commissioner Huw Kennair Jones.

ITV Studios will handle international distribution of both shows.
