Night Therapy to get German adaptation as part of Yes Studios, SquareOne partnership

Israeli psychological drama series Night Therapy

Israel’s Yes Studios is continuing its long-standing partnership with Vuelta Group Germany’s SquareOne Productions on a local adaptation of psychological drama series Night Therapy.

SquareOne Productions has previously collaborated with Yes Studios on the global format of Your Honor, with the producer creating a German adaptation for ARD and ORF with Mona Film Produktion, a French version for TF1 with Federation and an Italian version for Rai with Indiana Productions, also a member of the Vuelta Group.

SquareOne is now developing the German language version of Night Therapy, which also marks the first international option deal for the format, with writers attached and conversations ongoing with acting talent.

Night Therapy, which launched on Israel’s Yes TV in June, is a 10×60’ drama about a psychologist struggling to raise his two children after the suicide of his wife.

The original was created and written by Raanan Caspi, directed by Gabriel Bibliowicz and produced by Dafna Danenberg, Aviram Avraham and Benny Menache at Eight Productions. It was recently renewed for a second season.

Yes TV commissioned the original Night Therapy series, and Yes Studios is the worldwide distributor for the series and the format.
