Nickelodeon sticks to Jam series

Becca’s Bunch will debut on Nickelodeon in the US

Nickelodeon has acquired exclusive US broadcast rights and global pay TV rights to a forthcoming animated preschool series from Ireland’s Jam Media.

Becca’s Bunch will debut on Nickelodeon in the US in 2017 before rolling out internationally soon after following the deal with the production, distribution and licensing company.

The series, which follows a bird with a can-do attitude who allows her big ideas to take flight on fantastical adventures, is currently in production. It mixes live-action, puppetry, 2D animation and CGI.

Jam Media, which has studios in both Dublin and Belfast in Northern Ireland, pitched the series at Cartoon Forum in 2013 under the title Early Bird.
