Nick Westwood boards Naru Force Studios’ digital-first format K-Pop Olympics

Ex-Sky executive Nick Westwood has boarded Monaco-based media company Naru Force Studios’ flagship format K-Pop Olympics as executive producer.

Industry veteran Westwood will bring his experience in talent-led formats, brand entertainment and global digital distribution to the project.

K-Pop Olympics is Naru Force Studios’ first production after Finnish actor Salla Kozma launched the company earlier this year to focus on content for social media platforms.

Westwood is a former digital executive producer and commissioner for UK pay TV broadcaster Sky. He also served as head of digital content and programming at football content platform Otro.

Westwood said: “With K-Pop Olympics, we will build a multi-platform format that reflects and is true to this heartland, putting audiences at the centre while creating value across social, broadcast and brand ecosystems.

“It’s about designing an authentic format that works across the entire digital funnel, for partners, platforms and talent alike, that remains loved by the biggest advocates, the fans.”

Kozma said: “Nick brings a rare combination of creative instinct and commercial understanding across multiple platforms and markets.

“As we build Naru Force Studios and develop K-Pop Olympics, having someone who understands how talent, audiences and brands connect in today’s landscape is incredibly valuable. This project is designed as more than a format, but a platform for fan engagement, cultural exchange and scalable IP. Nick’s experience helps us accelerate that vision.”
