Nick Jr, MTVNHD find Asian homes

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has found homes for kids’ network Nick Jr and music channel MTVNHD in Singapore and Malaysia.

The networks launch on Singaporean pay platform StarHub tomorrow before heading over to Telekom Malaysia’s IPTV platform HyppTV on June 1.

The deals include cross-platform broadcasts and on-demand content for Nick Jr. MTVNHD will have live music, documentaries and original productions.

The news comes after VIMN teamed up with Endemol to launch Viacom Blink!, a female-skewed network that will initially debut in Poland on the Multimedia Polska and N platforms over the summer.
