Nicely Entertainment partners AMC Networks’ ALLBLK to shop legal drama Lace

Maryam Basir stars as a high-profile lawyer in Lace

LA-based producer and distributor Nicely Entertainment has picked up the international distribution rights to Lace, the legal drama from AMC Networks-owned North American streamer ALLBLK.

The show’s second season (14×60′) premieres on June 29, with Nicely set to launch worldwide sales at Mipcom in October.

Co-created and executive produced by Katrina Y Nelson, Adam Starks and Tracy Grant, Lace follows a high-profile lawyer, played by Maryam Basir, who can make anyone’s problems disappear except her own.

Michelle Ebony Hardy serves as executive producer and showrunner alongside Nelson.

The project is produced in association with Starks and Grant’s shingle Kemy Time Productions and also stars Skyh Black, Tanyell Waivers, Antoine Harris, Mollie Dolcimascolo and Taylor Bynoe.

Nicely Entertainment’s executive VP of distribution and coproductions Scott Kirkpatrick negotiated the deal with Kemy Time.
