New SVoD service CNN+ orders cooking show with American chef Alison Roman

Alison Roman fronts the as-yet-untitled series

CNN+, the forthcoming SVoD service for US news cablenet CNN, has ordered a cooking show fronted by American chef Alison Roman.

The as-yet-untitled series will feature Roman both in and out of the kitchen, as she teaches recipes at the stove and ventures out into the world to learn about the ingredients, people and story behind each dish.

Exec producing for CNN are exec VP of talent and content development Amy Entelis and senior VP of original series Lyle Gamm.

Roman also exec produces alongside Zero Point Zero Production’s co-founders Lydia Tenaglia and Chris Collins.

CNN+ is due to launch this spring.
