New novellas from Tepuy

Tepuy International arrives at MIPCOM with a raft of telenovelas which are currently performing well in the ratings for Columbia’s Canal Caracol.

Headlining the slate is Pedro el Escamoso (Great Pedro) which goes to air at 22:30, Monday through Friday, and averages 35.0 rating. The 160×60' show revolves around Miguel Varoni who plays the eponymous ladykiller, while Sandra Reyes and Javier Gómez round out the cast.

The prison escape drama Amantes del Desierto (120×60'), or Desert Lovers, starring Cuban matinee idol Francisco Gattorno, Maritza Rodríguez and Roberto Escobar, is garnering an average 30.0 ratings in its 22:00 timeslot.

In addition, Amores a Mil (High Speed Love) and La Baby Sitter make their market bow. The former (140×60') novela, set in the world of motor racing and helmed by Manolo Cardona and Patricia Vázquez, is delivering a 28.0 rating, while The Baby Sitter (160×60') is drawing down a 33.0 rating.
