London-based production, distribution and consulting company New Media Vision has picked up international rights to Hello (Again) created by Kim’s Convenience and Marvel star Simu Liu and Nathalie Younglai.

Produced by 100 Dragons and commissioned by Canada’s CBC Gem, Hello (Again) follows the complicated romance between chef Jayden and ER resident Avery, who get another chance at love after their unceremonious break-up when Jayden is hurled back in time.

Executive producers for the 9×10′ romcom are Teresa M Ho (Frankie Drake Mysteries, Departure, Anne with an E), Liu (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Kim’s Convenience), Younglai (Coroner) and Alex Mallari Jr (The Adam Project, Workin’ Moms, Shotgun Wedding). Melanie Chung serves as director.

Hello (Again), which stars Alex Mallari Jr and Rong Fu (Workin’ Moms, Hudson & Rex, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds), was developed and produced with the financial participation of the Bell Fund and CMF, the participation of Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit and the support of Ontario Creates.

New Media Vision was founded by CEO Todd Lituchy in 2009 and has produced shows including NBC drama The Mysteries of Laura, which stars Debra Messing (Will & Grace).
