Network Nine, M6, Viaplay among host of global nets to take on Johnny vs Amber

One-hour documentary special Johnny vs Amber: From Love to Hate

Broadcasters and platforms around the word including Australia’s Network Nine, France’s M6 and Viaplay have acquired doc TMZ Presents Johnny vs Amber: From Love to Hate from LA-based Propagate International, the distribution arm of content studio Propagate.

The one-hour doc special highlights the most gripping moments of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s relationship and subsequent trial. The doc aired on Fox in the US in June.

In addition to Network Nine and M6, Viaplay has picked up the doc for its platform in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

The doc has also been acquired by: TV2 in Norway; BAM in South-East Asia; TV Nova in Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia; SBS in Dutch-speaking Belgium; RTL in French-speaking Belgium and South Africa’s ETV.

ETV additionally picked up live chat series TMZ Live and entertainment news magazine show TMZ on TV. Both programmes air daily on Fox’s channels in the US.

Meanwhile, Propagate International has picked up distribution rights to two upcoming TMZ documentaries for Fox – TMZ Investigates: Who REALLY Killed Michael Jackson and TMZ Investigates: What REALLY Happened to Richard Simmons.
