NEWS BRIEF: US-based global streamer Netflix has renewed its Spanish-language drama Welcome to Eden for a second season.

The drama, created by Joaquín Górriz and Guillermo López, follows a group of influencers who are invited to a party island only to discover it is the home of a violent cult. It follows in the footsteps of Elite and Money heist on Netflix’s Spanish-language slate.
