Netflix US and Italy join forces with Screen Siren Pictures’ Mafia: Most Wanted

Mafia: Most Wanted is produced by Vancouver-based Screen Siren Pictures

Netflix has picked up true crime docuseries Mafia: Most Wanted for its service in the US and Italy.

Produced by Vancouver-based Screen Siren Pictures and distributed by recently-launched Toronto-based Last Word Entertainment, the three-part series premiered on Bell Media’s SVoD platform Crave in Canada in March.

It will debut on Netflix in the US and Italy later this month and will also air on Sky History in the UK and The History Channel in Benelux.

Mafia: Most Wanted exposes Italian criminal syndicate ’Ndrangheta, which controls nearly 70% of the global cocaine trade, and its hidden stronghold in Toronto.

Screen Siren Pictures president Trish Dolman is writer, director and exec producer, with COO Steven Thibault also exec producing. Exec producing for Last Word Entertainment are founder Sherry Fynbo and James Carroll.
