Netflix unveils Mike Myers comedy

Netflix is in production on a limited comedy series created by and starring Wayne’s World and Austin Powers star Mike Myers.

The previously untitled project has now been named The Pentaverate and is about a secret society that has been working to influence world events since the breakout of the Black Death in the 1300s.

Myers will play seven characters in the show and is also exec producing. The other stars include Ken Jeong (The Hangover), Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele), Debi Mazar (LA Law), Jennifer Saunders (Absolutely Fabulous), Lydia West (It’s a Sin) and Richard McCabe (Wallander).
