Netflix to stream Nippon TV’s boy band entertainment show Golden SixTONES globally

Golden SixTONES launched on Nippon TV in April

Netflix has picked up Japanese entertainment show Golden SixTONES from Nippon TV to stream on its service globally.

The series, featuring the popular boy band, will be available for global catch-up streaming on Netflix from today.

This marks the first time a regular weekly entertainment show from Nippon TV will be distributed on Netflix, expanding the show’s reach to global audiences. The show will stream in Japanese and be subtitled in multiple languages around the world.

Launched in April 2025, Golden SixTONES is a fresh addition to the network’s Sunday night primetime line-up.

The studio entertainment show brings together the SixTONES as emcees and star-studded guests for segments, games, quizzes, and competitions. It already streams on Hulu and TVer in Japan.

Yoshihiro Miyazaki, producer at Nippon TV, and Rie Sawaoka, director of content at Netflix, made the announcement.
